Tag, I'm it!
The bug tagged me. I'm soooo sick. Now that I'm sick and I know how miserable this bug is, I'm especially sorry to those of you out there who got "tagged" by our family. SORRY

Sick, Sicker, Sickest
I wanted to post pics from our Easter weekend in Colorado. Instead, I’m posting pics of who has thrown up, throwing up, or yet to throw up, this week.

Rain or Shine?
(I took this photograph today from my front yard)
Soon after - The rain stopped and the sun came out of it's hiding place! It is a gorgeous day and still early enough to enjoy every bit of it.
Now I’m going to clean out the van, rescue a TV remote, pack for our trip to Colorado tomorrow, catch up on emails, and peel the kids off the couch and into the sunshine. “Yeah Me!”

The sun is shining and the birds are chirping. The air smells clean and fresh. What a great way to start the day! It didn’t start this way though - I was up early soothing my two youngest back to sleep. It was raining and I just wanted to bury myself in my blanket and stay in bed. Alas, spending the day in bed is not an option for a mother of five, unless I have a temperature of 104 and my legs are unable to carry my weight. Neither of those applied to this particular situation so I decided to get up and face the day ahead.

Cookie Binge!
Aaaahh Thin Mints! The yearly binge on Girl Scout Cookies has begun. At what cost? $3.50 a box! When multiplied by four boxes, I’m down 14 bucks! Using the words of Wednesday on "The Addams Family," "Are they made from real Girl Scouts?" I could’ve bought eggs, milk, bread, and cheese. So how much bang for my buck is the Girl Scouts Organization getting? I learned that the profit from the sales goes to the national organization, then to the regional councils, and finally to the local troop. The local troop typically receives between 45¢ and $1 according to Wikipedia. I think next time a Girl Scout comes to my door, I’ll just hand her $5.00 and save myself the calories.
My hubby says that buying Girl Scout cookies is an American institution. I’m not sure what I think, except that $14 was difficult to part with.

Look Mom! No Hands!
I finally did it! I feel like I'm in the "IN CROWD" so to speak. I am all giggles and such. If all goes well, you will be able to follow along the winds and bends of my topsy turvy life with almost no effort whatsoever. Yahoo!
